Riverstone Resources Inc. announced that it has contracted Boart Longyear, to perform 5,000 metres of core drilling on the Yaramoko and Bissa West Concessions, on behalf of its partner, Roxgold Resources.
The initial target area will be the Bagassi Central area where previously reported reverse circulation (RC) drilling returned gold intercepts of 28.6 g/t gold over 20 metres and 24.6 g/t gold over 6 metres and the Bagassi South area, which returned gold intercepts of 11.9 g/t gold over 6 metres and 14.8 g/t gold over 2 metres. The Company has also received assays from the final 10 reverse circulation drill holes from its Bissa West Gold Concession in Western Burkina Faso, West Africa. Assay results remain pending for 15 holes drilled during Phase 1 on the Solna Concessions. Both properties, as well as Yaramoko, have been optioned to Roxgold, which has the right to earn a 60% interest, with Riverstone retaining 40%.
