Carbon Energy appoints Dr Helen Garnett as Non Executive Director

Carbon Energy (ASX: CNX) announced the appointment of prominent Australian businesswoman, Dr Helen Garnett, as Non-Executive Director, effective 6th September 2010.
Dr Garnett will be a member and Chair the Company’s Audit Committee. Dr Garnett is an accomplished Company Director with over 25 years experience of taking technical innovation and delivering practical commercial outcomes. She has 15 years experience as a Chief Executive and over 16 years as a non executive director and has been closely associated with the resource and energy sectors throughout this time.
Dr Garnett currently is a Non Executive Director and chairs the Audit Committee for Energy Resources of Australia, a top 200 ASX Company.
Dr Garnett holds a Bachelor of Science Hons degree and a PhD. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Academy of Technical Sciences and Engineering, additionally has received a Public Services Medal for her contributions to leading Nuclear Science and Technology in Australia.
