Coalspur Mines Limited announced that it has further expanded its coal lease position with the acquisition of an additional 1,200 hectares of Crown Coal Leases.
The acquisition increases the Company’s land position to 33,271 hectares. Commenting on the acquisition of the new leases the Company’s Managing Director and CEO, Mr Gene Wusaty, said “The location of the newly acquired coal leases further consolidates our land holdings in the area and will provide synergies with our existing land holdings. We are now assessing their potential as part of our ongoing program to expand the resource base for the Vista Coal Project.” Highlights: • Acquired additional coal leases from the Alberta Government covering 1,200 hectares which increases the size of the Vista Coal Project to 9,984 hectares • The acquisition increases the Company’s total coal lease position in the area to 33,271 hectares • New leases contain the potential for additional Coal Resources based upon geological interpretation and the close proximity to Coalspur’s existing coal leases More information, click here. |
