Powerscreen, a provider of mobile crushing, screening and washing equipment, has appointed Allen Smith as the company’s Mining Business Development Manager. 

Allen moves into this new role after spending 20 years working in all aspects of the Mining Industry, from aftersales, to sales and as Director General Manager specialising in the Mining and Quarrying sector. Allen will work closely with the Sales and Marketing Department and Powerscreen Global Dealer Network. 

Commenting on the appointment, Patrick Brian, Global Sales and Marketing Director, said, “This is an important new appointment for Powerscreen. Allen’s experience and respect in the Mining industry will be an asset to the Powerscreen strategy, which has been evolving into a clear direction focusing on serving specific market segments, namely aggregate production and mining as well as our more traditional contracting/ recycling/C&D segments. With the launch of our largest jaw crusher, XA750, our new large XH500 impact crusher and 1500 Maxtrak cone crusher, together with our new flagship Warrior 2400 screen, we’re establishing a strong position in the mining segment in the future.”
